The story of the sad little chair... and projects everywhere!
Today I went to my parents house. As some of you know I come from a family that has hoarding tendencies. I’m used to it now, so when I have to precariously balance to not trip on tools and stuff in the conservatory to get the house it barely registers I’m tiptoeing. I’m so used to seeing old oil drums, shopping trolleys, and random bits of metal in the garden that I don’t notice them now. For the past few months however, I have noticed this little tiny child’s rocking chair.

Why you should never meet your idols, a review of Netflix's Tidying up with Marie Kondo.
Let me start by saying I’m a total KonMari convert. For the past 4 years I have worshipped Marie Kondo’s method of decluttering after I totally transformed my home and life by following her method. With the launch of 'Tidying up with Marie Kondo' at the beginning of January on Netflix, it seems the world is finally realising the positives of a declutter. Even after decluttering my books, her two are still proudly displayed on my shelves and I still flick through them frequ

Luckily I’m really passionate about this mission and have promised myself I’m going to do all I can to make it happen. I can visualise turning crazy cluttered family homes into calming spaces that work for everyone. I c

So this week I need an operation under a general anaesthetic, don’t worry nothing scary, just a little op. It did make me think of what would happen if there were complications though. What would happen if I didn’t come around (probably not helped by reading the leaflet all about the risk factors, 1 in 10,000 when you’re faced with it doesn’t seem like great odds!).
It occurred to me that having decluttered and organised home gave me a sense of calm if anything did happen a

The first step is usually the hardest one to take...
This week its National Organising Week (NOW), which means you’ll find I’m doing lots of blogging on here, and lots of retweeting on Twitter for the next 7 days! There will be a few tips thrown in to help you too! I’m going to try and do a different blog post each day so you get to find out a bit more about me, my business and how I declutter and organise. Today I want to go through the type of clients I have, and what happens in a session. As I’ve been handing out my busines
